It is beginning to snow. so cold outside. but standing at our wall of glass, looking out to the courtyard, the snow falling in big flakes, just dusting the japaneese garden outside I am happy. We worked hard for this. fought for this. I wish she was here now to share the view, but there will be many nights like this, and many more truly unique things to amaze us and remind how perfect things truly are

well, after some SERIOUS stress we are mostly moved in. i can't find much, but it is feeling like home. amazing what a quarter of a million bucks will buy.

made a latte today. kinda sucked, but was good because I made it here.

reading chair (ask me about this one! pretty neat)

Bed frame
Bar stools
new counter/sink in bathroom

we finally close this afternoon. soso long in the comming. the house i sn't finished. we're not thrilled with a few details - - but hopefully good enough. i hate it that we are paying SO FUCKING MUCH for good enough. But that's how life goes.

should I be happy today?

it is really just a formality. like walking on graduation day. so maybe no bigger a day than any other.

i am finding that if you leave important paperwork in a pile on the floor for a long enough span of years they become garbage.
